London College of Fashion MA 2016 Catwalk Show

Last night Field Grey went to view future fashion stars at the annual London College of Fashion MA show.

Ten designers showcased their postgraduate collections in the cavernous and imposing Royal College of Surgeons’ Edward Lumley Hall, with a front row that included fashion stalwart Hilary Alexander and i-D’s Steve Salter.

Designers included: show opener Zhixan Wang, who showed quilt-like creations in white and orange, with models decorated with large helium balloons; Lauren Lake, who used various vibrant colours across furs and patchwork dresses; Ning Xu, whose bright blue workwear details got us pretty excited; Kirim Yun, who presented pretty pink short dresses with Victorian-like silhouettes and bustles; Desirée Slabik’s voluminous chiffon sculptures and Alexandru Tunsu’s frayed coats, which closed the show.

All ten of these designer creations wouldn’t look out of place at this weekend’s London Fashion Week, so while we head there to feast on more fashion, have a look at our gallery from last night:
