Field Grey were out and about at London Fashion Week this weekend. We stopped by to check out Osman’s AMEX Insider uniforms for this season and to see what the glamorous guests were wearing.
The AMEX Insiders are London Fashion Week’s concierges, who direct bewildered guests in the right direction and offer survival tips and general advice. Each season, they’re fashioned by a London designer – previously by Christopher Raeburn and Osman, who took on the challenge again this time around.
The Insiders wore white or pink bowler hats, making them semi-easy to spot in a sea of colour and textiles. They all wore heavy, black wool coats, with loose ties bridging gaps between sleeves and shoulders. It’s a dynamic change from last season’s digitally printed kimonos, but they looked wonderful, combining a professional aesthetic with a stylish twist.
There was plenty of inspiration on offer from the many men and women who attended this weekend. From the sublime to the somewhat ridiculous, here’s a look at some of the fashions we saw this weekend:
