Two giants of footwear (and incidentally, two of our previous partner brands) have collaborated to produce a striking shoe.
New Balance celebrate their manufacturing presence in the UK by producing a leather model, the 576GRB, with Grenson Shoes. We worked with New Balance on our Yotel project and with Grenson Shoes on our South Place Hotel project, so it’s a delight to see the two brands merging their unique assets.
The result is a trainer shoe hybrid, with the essence of the iconic New Balance 576 model with features of the traditional brogue that is synonymous with the Grenson Shoes brand. Expertly handcrafted at the Grenson Shoes factory in Northhampton and the New Balance factory in Cumbria, the footwear is strictly limited to 600 pairs.
The brands released beautiful images of the manufacturing process across both locations.
The shoe marries key brand signatures. Made from tan Italian leather, each pair boasts brogue burnishing, New Balance ‘N’ logo embellishments and a luxurious red leather insole with gold branding.
