Last week we paid a visit to our friends at Keepers Kitchen & Bar as our latest uniform project is rolled out.
Keepers is nestled in the four-star Novotel at Tower Bridge. The Tower of London keeps an eye on Keepers, and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere awaits. This particular Novotel houses a family of rooftop bees, providing honey and inspiring a unique menu of food and drinks (hence its name).
The decor is fantastic; a mix of reclaimed furniture, copper, honeycomb wallpaper and endless trinkets and curiosities. The menu boasts all sorts of tempting delights, including honey roasted salmon tacos, bloody mary cheese toasties and classic burgers and dogs.
Novotel required a distinctive and coherent branding solution for this uniform project. The brief was to create an individual and flexible uniform range that reflected the city environment, using a palette of black, orange and olive – a nod towards the restaurant’s theme. The uniform is worn around the clock, from breakfast until late; it required a modern approach that was also welcoming.
Field Grey produced a range of workwear items. Olive aprons carry a bold honeycomb print, and bespoke t-shirts in orange and black use the bold Keepers logo as a focus, with a bee illustration adding a fun, modern quirk. A checked shirt was also provided for bar staff for a smarter option.
