Field Grey was invited to develop a uniform for tapas purveyors Camino. With five locations across London offering al fresco dining, the restaurants required a solution with wearability and style of equal importance.
Approach / Field Grey developed a bespoke collection for Camino, a popular restaurant and drinking destination in King Cross for many years, winning many awards. As Camino increased locations across London, they desired a new uniform to reflect the values of this well-established brand.
We looked at simple solutions and created two lengths of bespoke aprons to define the bar and restaurant areas. The final apron design was produced in a deep rust cotton, with copper eyelets and denim studs. We proposed a debossed leather label to place on the pocket, featuring the company’s bold logo. We also developed bespoke shirts and polo shirts to complement and contrast with the apron.
Camino is a chain of Spanish restaurants across five London venues serving seasonal tapas with al fresco dining.
