Field Grey were recommended by renowned hospitality-concept agency Gorgeous Group who worked with interior designer Russell Sage. Sofitel sought a stylish uniform solution for the team at Wild Honey, the hotel’s flagship restaurant, bar and Rose Lounge under the direction of renowned chef Anthony Demetre.
Approach / Field Grey’s approach was to create a unique day-to-night solution combining bespoke design with our Readywear range.
The restaurant hosts the hotel’s breakfast before serving lunch and dinner menus, so the venue bustles from dawn until dusk. The team required a stylish, practical uniform that can easily be transformed from casual to smart.
Our Readywear Plain Bib Shirt forms the perfect base layer for all staff, supplied in both white and grey. For the tailoring, we referenced Coco Chanel, designing trousers and waistcoats with asymmetric buttons up the silhouette. Toast-coloured sleeve garters, also from our Readywear range, complete the looks.
Wild Honey St James is Sofitel’s restaurant from chef Anthony Demetre, whose original Wild Honey enjoyed 12 successful years in Mayfair.
